Toddler group antics!

Once a week, Benjamin and I go to a toddler group not far from our house. It's just 90 minutes long but it makes a nice change for Benjamin to go play with some other toys and the best part is....it's free! Unlike some other toddler groups, this one is not too cliquey, a few mums do actually talk to me and include me in some conversations.
Here are a few one-off snapshots of what Benjamin gets up to while we are there:

Learning to roll out playdough........he needs a little help with this. Today he didn't eat any - we are making progress!

He is OBSESSED with this car, it's the first thing he goes for. He is crazy about the opening and shutting door.

Riding the indoor slide....He kept hold of this toy stethoscope for a long time. I missed a shot of him actually hooking it onto his ears and putting the right part on his chest and then on mine! Somebody obviously wants to be a doctor one day....?

Doing a bit of imaginary cooking -

He liked this spinning and rocking plane for a little while -

He is even a little partial to this doll's house -

And towards the end of the session he even embraced his paternal instincts for a few moments.....

I love this gorgeous boy :) xxxxxxxxx

Learning to blog!

The time has come that I learn to keep up with the rest of the world and I am attempting to start my own family blog! It will be pretty basic for now ha! Ben is out for a little while this evening and little Benjamin is sound asleep. There is nothing on TV so thought I should use my time productively.
For those of you who don't already know....I am TERRIBLE at keeping up with what everyone else is doing with technology. I joined Facebook long after my MUM had done so and if somebody gave me an Ipod I wouldn't have a clue what to do with it! This is incredibly sad, I know. As for Kindles....give me a paperback any day! I love the smell, the look, the texture of a new book, as well as the satisfaction of turning pages and seeing how far along I am in it. But that's a whole other debate.
Anyway, I am now going to be really clever and insert a cute picture of Benjamin.....

Aha!!! Do you see what I did there? I think I am the only one impressed by myself.....
I promise that very soon I may have something far more interesting to post!
