Helen's baby shower

This afternoon I had a great time at my friend Helen's baby shower! She and I have been friends since our school days and it is so cool that I have been there to witness her uni life (I stayed at her student house for a few days while she was at Oxford Brookes), wedding and now our sons are play mates! This time she is expecting a little girl and I was able to make it to this baby shower! First time round I was in early pregnancy with Benjamin and was so sick I couldn't make it :( For this special occasion, Helen asked me to bake something and I was more than willing to oblige...

I made her these cupcakes with a little help from Ben. I cannot take the credit for those hats - he did those!
I also stole the design idea from another friend but that's how I roll....#notanaturalcreativegenius!
The buffet was very yummy indeed - 

We all had a great time and I am proud to announce that my team won the quiz! I won some chocolates and handcream. I am always in need of handcream ha! It was also nice to have a catch up with old and new friends.

Helen said that this was a non-present giving baby shower and she just wanted to spend some time talking baby and eating cake with her friends....but a few of us couldn't resist!
